Held on May 27, 2024, the seminar was promoted as part of the Public Economic Law course for Business and Economic Sciences students in the Business and Economic Sciences program.
The Department of Business and Economic Sciences and Law for Economics of the University of Milano-Bicocca (Di.SEA.DE), the Bicocca Public Administration Law & Innovation Observatory (DIPAB), and the Rizzola Academy Foundation organized the in-depth seminar titled “Healthcare in Transformation: Technologies and Controls for New Organizational Frameworks.” Moderated by Professor Camilla Buzzacchi, the seminar featured speakers from various sectors: Federico Testa from the University of Verona, Enrico Gasparini from the Lombardy Region, Antonio Alizzi from the Rizzola Academy Foundation, and Maurizio Campagna from FPB Legal.
The seminar focused on the ongoing transformations in the healthcare sector, particularly highlighting innovative technologies and the new control and organizational models that are emerging. Both public and private healthcare are facing radical changes, driven by technological advancements and new performance control and evaluation systems, which are shaping new ways of organizing and delivering services. Institutional actors such as regional authorities, sector operators, and data management professionals are being called to adapt to evolving frameworks, with the aim of optimizing healthcare interventions and protecting public health.
